The Songsters are the “senior choir” — although some don’t like to be reminded of the “senior” bit! With currently, about 28 active members, we take part in Sunday services at the corps in Felixstowe as well as venturing further afield on occasions.

Most of the music the Songsters use is published by the Salvation Army but it includes a number of contemporary songs from well-known Christian writers as well as more “home grown” material.

Members of the Songsters are uniformed and non-uniformed members of the corps and enjoy sharing the good news of Jesus through our singing. We pray each week that God’s message, as we sing, will reach the hearts of the people who hear us, encouraging them to receive God’s love into their lives.

Everyone is welcome to come along and join in with us at practices and we’d be glad to welcome you one Thursday evening at 7.45pm!

Songster Leader Kevin Gray.
