In April we had a massive spring clean with many members donning the rubber gloves.      During the year we had Majors Martin & Michelle Wheeler taking a service before retiring and a surprise visit my Majors Allister & Kathleen Versfeld (former COs).      During the year we celebrated Mothering Sunday and towards the end we had a busy time with Harvest, The Tree Festival and a busy Christmas period.      In April our own Worship band gave a concert as well as the Anglia Fellowship Band.     August saw the Dedication of Eva Williams, daughter of our corps officers, Captains Paul & Lizette Williams.      The Household Troop Band came to visit us in July for the weekend. It started with a march from the top of the town and playing on the Triangle. They performed a concert and led the Sunday Service.     Our Band & Songsters had a busy year starting with a concert at Woodbridge Citadel (July), leading Praise on the Prom (Sept) and finishing with a visit to Clacton corps to help celebrate with their 126th Anniversary (Nov)      Enrolled as Soldiers were Simon Scott (April), Christine & Julia Hancock (Nov).     Enrolled as Adherents were John Day, Nick Hammond and Andrew Jessup (Nov). Martin Saxton was enrolled as Band Secretary and Bob Versey retired as Colour Sergeant.     Promoted to Glory were Stan Cracknell (Sept 5th), Anne Ranner (Nov 11th) and Major Margaret Lawrance (Dec 21st).
